HOW OPERATING SYSTEM WAS CREATED WITHOUT COMPUTER?
In the past, before the development of electronic computers, creating an operating system would have been a much more difficult and labor-intensive task. Some of the steps involved in creating an operating system without the use of computers would include:
1. Defining the goals and requirements for the operating system using manual methods such as flowcharts and written documentation.
2. Designing the overall architecture of the operating system using manual methods such as flowcharts, diagrams and written documentation.
3. Writing the source code for the operating system using a low-level programming language such as assembly.
4. Using a combination of manual methods such as punch cards and manual calculations to test and debug the operating system.
5. Optimizing the operating system for performance and efficiency using manual methods.
6. Packaging and distributing the operating system for users to install and use on their computers.
It is worth noting that creating an operating system without the use of computers would have been a monumental task requiring a lot of effort and resources, and it would have been limited in terms of functionality and performance compared to modern operating systems.
