**FBM KLCI as a Benchmark for Bursa Malaysia**
Just like stocks, FBM KLCI also experiences fluctuations, but while stocks use price to evaluate them, FBM KLCI uses a points system.
It consists of the 30 largest companies on Bursa Malaysia based on their market capitalization.
**Note:**
Market Capitalization = The value of a stock
Market Capitalization = Stock Price x Total Volume of Shares
In simple terms, the FBM KLCI is formed by combining the 30 largest companies on Bursa Malaysia.
